John and Judy Lucas have called Kodiak their home for more than 30 years. They raised three children and realized their dream of owning and operating a winery.

The Kodiak Island Winery is a wonderful place to experience whether you are staying in our rentals or out for a Kodiak drive. The distinct wines are created from locally-grown and harvested fruits.

John and Judy received the 2003 Made in Alaska - Manufacturer of the Year Award for their attention to detail and recycling efforts. They won the Northwest Wine Summit 2004 Silver award for their outstanding salmonberry wine.
